Job Description:

A company is looking for a Virtual Desktop Engineer III responsible for the design, implementation, management, and optimization of virtual desktop infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and deployment of virtual desktop infrastructure solutions ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
Oversee day-to-day operations of VDI and remote desktop environments, including monitoring and performance optimization
Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and implement security protocols for virtual desktop solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years focused on virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
Proven experience with leading VDI technologies such as VMware Horizon and Citrix
Hands-on experience in designing and managing virtualized environments on cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulatory compliance and data security best practices
