Job Description:

Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Minimum Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in related field with 10 years of expereince

Master's degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience.

Special Requirements

-Has previous DOD major program execution experience

-Has completed at least one or several major DOD Acquisition programs

-Experience with NAVSEA contracts is desired

-Experience with complicated depot level ship maintenance is desired

-Budget maintenance and reconciliation/variance analysis required

-Earned Value Management & variance analysis experience required

-Profit/Loss and Annual Operating plan experience

-Critical Path and Float schedule analysis skills

-Labor forecasting (Labor Resource Management) skills

-Expert MS-office skills

*Pivot tables/Data Filtering/Grouping

*Labor Plan vs. Actual charting/analysis

-Data Analysis skills - be able to relate to management developing trends

-Excellent Customer relations - specifically to build professional relationships with customer counterparts
