    • Must have at least 2 years of labor experience
    • Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes
    • Typical procedures performed: Vaginal deliveries, C-sections, antepartum patients. Newborn and post-partum care
      • Schedule Information
      • Weekends: Every third weekend
      • On-call: 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule

        • Unit: Maternal Infant Unit
        • Number of Beds: 24
        • Number of Staff: 71
        • Staff Details: Day Shift - labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator; Night Shift - labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
        • Patient Ratios: Labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
        • Equipment Used: GE fetal monitors
        • EMR: Meditech, CPN
          • Additional Details
          • Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs, MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security
