Job Description:

New Pay Rates and Great Benefits We are currently seeking full-time Registered Nurses (RN) to provide skilled human support and administrative work administering medications, conducting medical assessments, documenting activities, attending clinical meetings, and various related tasks.

• Admit clients to the program and obtain physician orders
• Administer medications and complete nursing assessments
• Facilitate psycho-educational groups for clients
• Supervise staff and oversee unit operations in the absence of the supervisor
• Draw blood, process lab results, and maintain thorough documentation of activities
• Attend and participate in treatment team meetings
• Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate medical needs of clients
• Enter data into computer database for new clients and update client data as needed
• Refer clients to community resources for various needs
• Maintain necessary competencies for licensure and attend required trainings and meetings Position Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in nursing
  • Moderate experience as a registered nurse in a behavioral health setting
  • Possession of a current Virginia license as a Registered Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • Computer proficiency Additional Information
