Work Schedule: 40 hours per week Emergency Services is a 24/7
program as such employees are scheduled to work holidays and will
accrue accelerated leave to compensate. If the employee requests
the holiday off, leave is submitted. Available schedules: Overnight
Tuesday- Saturday 3:00pm to 11:30pm or 3:30pm to 12:00am -
Occasionally- Up to 1/3 of the time.
Work Site Location: Chesapeake, VA (216 Great Bridge Blvd)
Position Driving Requirement: R - Routine
Pay Basis: Semi-Monthly
Advertised Salary: $53,424-$65,000 starting salary range
Starting salary is depending on qualifications
+10% Special Assignment Pay
7% Shift differential for this shift

Required Qualifications: VOCATIONAL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Requires a bachelor's degree in social work, counseling,
psychology, or a closely related field or another degree as
approved by the Virginia Department of Health Professions
Requires master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or
Rehabilitation.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
In addition to satisfying the vocational/education standards, this
position requires a minimum of two years of related, full-time
equivalent experience.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally
scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or
City-wide emergencies. Emergency operations support work and work
locations may be outside of normal job duties.
Preferred Qualifications: Must currently have, or obtain within 3
months after hire, Preadmission Screening Certification by the
Department of Behavioral Health and Disability Services (DBHDS)
Prefer candidate eligible for Licensure in Virginia as a
Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychologist, Registered Nurse, or
Clinical Social Worker

Special Instructions to Applicants: As a healthcare facility that
receives reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid, we fall under
