Job Description:

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an experienced Assembler in Richmond, VA (near the airport) to work with a Power Distribution company in the manufacturing area. This position is a temporary to hire job opportunity. Assemblers will be responsible for assembling power boards using power screwdriver or nut driver. Responsibilities for the Assembler position include, but are not limited to the following:

Using power screw or nut driver to assemble power boards in a manufacturing environment

Stand for the majority of your shift

Pay close attention to detail

Be a team player and cross train on different stations

Experience: Assembler candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Have experience with small part assembly

Manufacturing experience

Knowledge of power boards is helpful, but not required

Have a stable work history

Schedules will start on first shift working 8AM to 4:30PM, Monday - Friday with overtime required right now. The pay rate for that shift is $10/hr. They will then look to move associates into a 2nd shift position at the end of November, working 3:00PM to 11:30PM, Monday-Friday. The pay rate for that shift is $10.50 per hour. You MUST be flexible to work either shift.
