Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coder II Professional to accurately code and abstract medical records for billing and reimbursement purposes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage charge review and coding-related claim edit work queues for timely and accurate charge capture
Review medical record documentation to assign appropriate CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines
Train and mentor coding staff, providing education on coding policies and documentation improvement

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years of experience in coding
Knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding systems
Experience with electronic health records
Ability to consult with physicians/providers regarding documentation
