Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant to support
their team of bond underwriters.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Surety Bond Underwriters with day-to-day tasks, including
reviewing company information and maintaining agent records
Gather reports, set up electronic files, and accurately enter
critical information into systems
Communicate with internal and external parties and prioritize
assignments to support multiple team members
Required Qualifications and Education
Two or more years of relevant and progressive experience
Familiarity with using programs and systems to gather
information
Basic understanding of financial information
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
Willingness to travel for on-site training during the first three
months of employment
