Job Description:
DutiesYou will evaluate the workload required to accomplish
assigned logistics projects and works with other team leaders and
code supervisor to assign required resources, and oversees the
execution of the logistics project.You will ensure that COP data is
accurately prepared and entered into CDMD-OA.You will act as
liaison between Engineering and Planning Department and material
procurement activities both within and throughout the NAVSEA
community.You will participate in meetings to resolve material
issues including long lead time, standardization, and procurement
problems.You will direct performance of equipment validations to
assure quality during ship's operating cycle and industrial
availabilities.You will review and analyze the database to identify
validation requirements to assure system integrity.You will consult
with local and other naval engineering activities to resolve
Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) problems.You will assist in
development of Integrated Logistics Support Management Plan (ILSMP)
and ILSMT availability status reports.Requirements Conditions of

scaffolding.This is a bargaining unit position.You will be required
to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance

required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job
offer or removal.You will be required to wear personal protective
equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles,
respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the
work shift.Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful
physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat,
ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be
required to participate in medical surveillance programs.This
position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and
OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able
to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods
of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one
year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade
level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience
in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must
demonstrate the following:Experience implementing the knowledge of
the four areas of code responsibilities: Configuration Data
Management (CDM), Naval Support Activity (NSA)/Equipment
Validation, Configuration Overhaul Planning (COP) development, and
Bill of Material (BOM) report development.Experience using
Microsoft Office products, such as, Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, and
ACCESS.Experience using Configuration Data Manager Database - Open
Architecture (CDMD-OA).Experienced in using the following
databases; TDMIS, NSDER, PMS-MIS, WEB-JEDMICS, NDE, SPARK,
LOGQUEST.Experience developing and presenting a subject matter
report to a group.Experience analyzing Ship Installation Drawings
(SIDs) for Logistic / Equipment Configuration impact.Experience
converting the Man-Days and support services into dollar values
based upon current contractual guidelines.Additional qualification
